Thomas Kinkade Studios® presents, Santa’s Final Touch, A Lionel Legacy, our newest collaboration with Lionel Trains that celebrates Lionel’s 125th anniversary. With this painting, we give a glimpse inside one of Santa’s workshops that houses a varied collection of Lionel locomotives and boxcars and an impressive village. We can watch Santa painting, as he applies the final touches to a Lionel 700 E Hudson locomotive engine.

Christmas was a favorite time of year for our founder, Thomas Kinkade. He looked forward with anticipation to the weather changing, especially the crisp feeling of winter air. To celebrate the season, Thomas Kinkade Studios imagined what Christmas would be like in the town featured in one of Thom’s most iconic paintings, Lamplight Village. The Brook Windermere has frozen, allowing young and old to enjoy the beautiful day ice skating. Visitors may stroll through the village shops to browse for Christmas gifts or enjoy a romantic ride in a horse drawn sleigh. A bright Christmas star illuminates the evening sky as young and old gather to begin celebrating the Christmas season. Santa has taken his seat, and excited children wait in line with their parents and grandparents to have their turn telling Santa what they would love for Christmas.

As you walk around the town square one can enjoy the melodic sounds of the Christmas Carolers in the brightly decorated gazebo. Maybe have a cup of hot cocoa or a bag of roasted chestnuts while watching the ice sculptor create a cool icy version of one of Santa’s reindeer. On a crisp winter’s morning, the beautiful story of Disney’s Cinderella continues as she and Prince Charming arrive at Fairy Godmother’s cottage with a freshly cut tree. Their gift-laden sleigh, pulled by Major, sparkles against the crisp white snow as bluebirds fly nearby, celebrating the season. Prince Charming carefully lifts Cinderella from the sleigh as her Fairy Godmother waves her wand and magical fairy dust floats on the light breeze. Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella hide nearby in the trees as Lucifer plots a way to disrupt this sweet moment.

Thomas Kinkade Studios presents Disney – Mickey and Minnie Candy Cane Express. The holiday lights sparkle and twinkle, and brilliant white snow glistens as some of our favorite Disney friends prepare to embark on a festive journey aboard the Candy Cane Express.

Mickey Mouse the Train Conductor warmly greets Minnie Mouse as she prepares to board the Candy Cane Express, and Pluto carries the gift bag for her. Scrooge looks on as Huey hurries over to help Dewey bring hot chocolate to Louie, Uncle Donald Duck and Daisy Duck. Goofy strolls toward the platform to board the train, carefully carrying wrapped packages across the snow. Morty runs over to help Goofy with plans to be paid with one of the candy canes in Goofy’s back pocket.

Thomas Kinkade loved to visit the coast. He often painted the lighthouses he and his family would visit. To Thom, a lighthouse was seen as a harbinger of protection and hope, and cottages as a symbol of family, with golden light pouring from the cottage’s windows, reflecting the cozy comfort of the life lived within.

The sun has set on this snowy Christmas Eve. The family has settled in after a long day of sledding and preparing for Santa’s arrival this night. The first to spot Santa on his Midnight Delivery run are the family of snow people watching over the home. Santa and his sleigh have landed stealthily on the roof so that he can deliver the presents and be on his way to the next home.
