Lochaven Cottage

I delight in playing the host and making sure that my guests enjoy an evening filled with pleasant moments and fresh delights. I’ve found a way to do that – through my art – for my friends in the Thomas Kinkade Collectors’ Society. This year’s celebration at Lochaven Cottage will be very intimate, and I think most romantic. The cottage is small but cozy, with its lights blazing. A little boat is tethered to the dock – inviting guests to enjoy a moonlight row on the satin-smooth lake.

At twilight, a hush falls over the countryside. The wind stills and the surface of a small lake clams to mirror smoothness – reflecting the brilliant hues of sunset. Lochaven Cottage welcomes us to that idyllic scene. This utterly charming lakeside retreat with stone walls and thatched roof rises from the rocks of the lakeshore; cheery lights spill out of its windows and mingle with the reflected reds and golds of dusk in the lake waters.
