Home Is Where the Heart Is II
“Home Is Where the Heart Is” is a favorite saying of mine – and one of my favorite collections. So Home Is Where the Heart Is II expresses those things I value most about family.
The classic farm house offers comfort and intimacy, the flowering apple trees promise a rich harvest – and the pies, sauce, and cider that bind a family in fruitful labor. I like to think that these trees were planted long ago, by grandparents who may yet live in this gracious home. Make sure you don’t miss the little cats on the porch and the heart-shaped objects within this composition. Let my painting remind you of the importance of the people you care about, as the home invites you to remember the simpler times.
