Garden of Prayer
- Thomas Kinkade has hidden seven N’s in The Garden of Prayer, both in loving tribute to his wife Nanette and to coincide with the seven pools of life.
- The Garden of Prayer marks Winsor Kinkade’s artistic debut. While sitting on her father’s lap, Winsor took her first dabs on canvas and added one of the calla lilies. And just like her father, Winsor is left-handed.
- The Garden of Prayer is the first to feature calla lilies – lilies are used to celebrate Easter and the resurrection.
- Featuring an ornate copper and stone monument standing stalwart next to a stream with seven pools, The Garden of Prayer is one of Thom’s most peaceful and thought provoking paintings to date. The open gate symbolizes Heaven.
- Light shines through the trees, highlighting the abundant flowers and dappling the ornate copper dome. In the distance we see a figure on the path – who could this be?
- The Garden of Prayer is released as a multi-size edition in 18″ x 24,” 25½” x 34,” and for the first time ever, an epic 30″ x 40″ canvas size. This allows each person to be able to choose the size that best fits their home.
